  1. Hi Emacyn,

Leslie here, reading your blog from my snowy home in Canada as a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. It's definitely not sunny and warm here so it's very fun to think about you enjoying your summer holidays from school!

Your list of things to do to prevent getting too much sun exposure is very good. You've really just written 4 suggestions, however. Can you think of one more thing that would help prevent sun/heat stroke? Perhaps it's an idea, for example, to avoid sitting in the sun by seeking out shady places in which to sit or play. Can you think of anything else?

I'm glad that you're participating in this program. Perhaps you're learning about things that will be helpful for you this summer. I know that I have to be reminded to put on sunscreen and to take my hat when I go out in the summer - it isn't always top of mind to do that...

I hope you're having a great summer holiday and that you'll continue to work on these activities. You're doing really well.

    Cheers,

    Leslie
